More than two dozen Massachusetts referees will be traveling out of state this Summer to officiate at regional and national youth soccer tournaments. These tournaments provide valuable experience in the highest levels of youth competition, and an opportunity to meet and network with referees from other states.
Referees who travel out of state to officiate games must be approved by the state referee committee. They represent some of the most qualified and promising officials in the program. At recent national tournaments, including the Sun Bowl in Tampa, last Winter, administrators of these events noted that Massachusetts' referees demonstrated exceptional professionalism and skill.
