It is with great sadness that we note the passing of Robert "Bob" Ayers of Feeding Hills after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Bob was 56.
Bob was very active in the referee community for over 20 years, as both a State Assessor and Area Referee Administrator. A former State referee himself, Bob served almost every level of the referee world, and was the long time assignor for the State Youth Cup.
Born July 14, 1948, Bob was a fixture in Western Mass soccer and beyond. Bob made a wide impact in the soccer world. His loss will be felt by all of us.
