Webmaster

Overall Responsibility

A Webmaster may be hired, whose responsibility is to maintain the web presence of the MSRC in a manner that is consistent with Committees goals and objectives.

Key Areas of Responsibility

The Webmaster shall possess general web authoring ability. Some understanding of the referee community and USSF structure is helpful. As the Webmaster may interact frequently with many outside sources, good communication and writing skills are also required. Some technical understanding of web development technologies needed.

• Posting informational announcements, bulletins and alerts, some of which may be time-sensitive, either through the web portal and/or social media as needed.
• Changing, updating and repairing banners, links, to maintain overall site functionality.
• Obtaining the most recent publications from USSF and other sources, so as to ensure our resource material is current.
• Modifying the graphical interface and look and feel of our site as needed.

Consults with

The Webmaster reports directly to the SRA and shall work in cooperation with the Massachusetts State Referee Committee.

Term

The Webmaster shall be hired for a specified one (1) year term and may be rehired.
